1st attempt at the full rig

I have dabbled with rigs in the past but either a partial rig or by fitting the rig to a chase car but this was my first attempt at "proper" rig photography. I have basically thought about it for too long now and was actually nervous as I gathered my kit together for fear that the results would not turn out as I had imagined.
It was quite difficult without an assistant and I did get some very strange looks from passers by but it was good fun.
I only managed to bag a couple of shots before the threat of rain otherwise I would have tried some forward facing shots but there's always another day...
The second shot required editing help from a friend of mine to remove the rig from the shot and I am hugely greatful for her help.
For those of you not on facebook I have attached the pictures below
Critiques welcome as always (just don't look too closely!!)

Fab
Do you have the original pics with the rig in them to show the setup you had?

Great Shots with the autumnal backdrop.
No disrespect to the SE calendar, but I think you should be pitching your work at a higher level for greater visibility of your talent?
I also keep thinking of the consequences of you meeting another vehicle on the narrow road

It's obviously all on private property - the car doesn't have a legal number plate fitted.
Great photos!
Cheers,
Robin

Robin wins a prize, private estate road.
Also it's just a bit if fun for me, I enjoy sharing the stories about the pictures with SE and they aren't to be taken too seriously

Great shots! And thanks for posting a pic of the rig, looks like a fun piece of kit. Out of interest, do you take a shot of the car without the rig to make photoshopping it out later easier?

If you ever want a tyre smoking drift shot, gimme a shout.
If you also want a toe link snapping, hub bending, alternator shattering shot, just put the camera on a multi shot mode
