Plus, look at the direction they are pointing. Exhaust blown diffuser on a road car... Jings.

I wonder how much above 100 he went to. Initially I could see the speedo upto 80, but then the camera moved off it.

Oh Simon, you so pedantic... ;-)

No, they are not using it to seal the sides of the diffuser like a skirt, but it's been reported they are using it to help accelerate air from the diffuser exit. So, if you're talking strictly, it's not the same as the f1 definition. But it is assisting the diffuser, so we can let them get away with using it as marketing...

just cause marking say that does not make it true...

it's far to far back to be doing anything aero constructive (asides the F1 version was not about sealing gaps, it was about using the venturi effect on a high velocity gas steam to create a vacuum)
