Made the decision the go for the full cage, in stallion had been, interesting!
Here's a couple of photos for those interested.
Rear wasn't too bad bar a seized bolt in the rear stay hats mounts to the small alloy insert that sits up the longeron.
The front has been a nightmare, all this lot has had to come out
Also discovered a knackered Nitron so that's away for a rebuild and a snapped spring, all making the 28th trackday unlikely

It's simple but getting the rollbar out and the new rollbar in was a nightmare, cutting out the bulkhead makes
It easier but that's a whole other world of pain!
The dash looks a lot worse than it actually is to be honest!

all went back together a treat, and it all seems to still work
re-bleed the chargecooler in its new location and a few other bits and pieces and we are good to go"

Busy tonight fitting new springs to the new suspension-quantum- lots of good reports so will see how they are
I swapped the springs out from a road biased set to full on race-
850lb rears with 350lb helpers
650 fromts with 250 helpers
Pretty extreme for a car what weighs about 750kgs

Kitchen table using the kids ruler..
Spring comparison, 550lb vs 850- picture stuggles to show how much thicker the higher rate spring is to be honest.
All finished

can't wait to try them out.
