Knockhill SIDC 26/3/16 GoPro Footage

Post by C7Steve » Sun Mar 27, 2016 10:08 pm

Here is a few clips from Saturday's trackday. (Edited to separate posts)

I had a great time and the track seemed very quiet at times considering how busy the briefing was. I have not filmed my first session, because I had not set up the GoPro before the siting laps and I just joint the queue straight from the third siting lap group. I kept the car in 'Sport Mode' at first then switched it off later in the day as it was too restrictive at the hairpin as I was provoking the rear out each time and only managed once I changed the traction/stability switch, even though it nearly caught me out. Jamie said it looked good from behind as the tyres were smoking.

Tut, I noticed that you were on a cool down lap, before you changed your mind and followed behind before we switched places.

Dominic, It is your friend who is in the car with me if you want to send her the short clip.

Internet is slow where I am at the moment, so not sure if the above posting of videos have worked or wether I can only post one at a time. Trial and error.

The first post does sort of work, I cut and pasted into the YouTube search bar and it was fine.
Good footage, greats sounds, especially tuts car, couldn't see myself though which is surprising, you passed me loads of times!

Looks formatted correctly - only thing I can think of is that the Youtube inline display code is a plugin to the forum, not native to the software - so it might draw the line at one video per post?

D, how did you manage that :scratch

I tried different variations but with no success. How come it worked for you, but not me?

Are you going to tell me how you managed it in exchange for something that I could get Kathy to produce for you? Maybe a number 23 special version containing Sodium Glycerophosphate, Dipotassium Phosphate, Disodium Phosphate and some Caffeine and will be more than the normal 15% alcohol level which even Smee cannot get his hands on. :lol:

Good description.

I literally just inserted the youtube script by clicking on the youtube button at the top (next to vimeo) and copied the video ID into the middle;
carriage return;
