Just back from a week on Skye.
Fantastic roads & scenery (wish I could say the same about the weather).
Here are a few edited highlights

I was up in Skye end of the week before, visited some of the same areas. We took ferry over Thursday and drove to Applecross Friday. Weather was very mixed the week before as well.

One of the highlights. The 25 is amazing, although the DE is a close second (and a bargain at a fifth of the price)

Do it :D
There's some great roads.
A lot of motorhomes in the summer, but I discovered they're all parked up by about 7pm. Considering it's light until after 11pm in June/July, that gives you 4 hours of play time
