First run out in the Cup

Post by Kinger » Sun Dec 04, 2016 8:42 pm

Decided to go for a get to know you drive in the Cup as the sun was shining today. The sun was shining but not every where, like going round a corner into the shade only to find frost and ice. One big brown trouser moment, where all I could think of was Oh please not two Elises's in two weeks. Settled down for a nice run taking great care when out of the direct sun.
I was most impressed with the Cup, power delivery is great, not quite the grunt as the V6, but way more than enough for the road. It rides very much like the V6 soaking up bumps and rough surfaces way better than my old 240 Exige.

Picture number 5 below isn't black and white, that's frost just down from the Lecht

Really looking forward to 2017's trackdays, already booked for Croft, Spa and Zolder in June and Frolic in August.

Yeah, but the fronts are only 175/55 x 16, my S1 had 195's on the front. Need to look into wheel size to see if 195's will be OK.

Will they not be AD07? I didn't think you could get AD08 is standard S2 front sizes?

Car looking good, subtle but menacingly looking in black, I think black suits the cup really well.
Surprised it has 175 fronts though on those nice wheels.
Enjoy
