Been looking for a new rear spoiler for a while

Post by BigD » Thu Feb 02, 2017 6:15 pm

So after having a close look at Baz's car I ended up looking at the classifieds to find the car (including spoiler) I wanted being sold privately very close to me. Seemed like karma.

I had had a shot of Simons Red Exige on Frolic 2015 and the seed was planted back then, have been saving hard since then. :D

Had it a week or so now but only just had the chance to get it out in daylight. Initial impressions are very very good, pulls like a train from anywhere in the revs, more comfortable than my 111R for some reason too. 8) The original owner looked after it very well so it's a bit pampered and only has 700 miles on it so far.

So here it is (with a couple of vinyl additions): I added the rear wing end plate decals, the LOTUS on the spoiler, the sunscreen and finally the sill decals just like the cup car.

It's a lovely thing. Serious congrats and envy.

Congratulations on the new toy!! It really does seem to be a fantastic bit of kit!

How much did it cost? Did you get it on ebay? I would quite like one myself, and did look at buying one, but couldn't really think when I'd use it as my weekends are busy and I don't think I would take it to work. I'll probably get one at some point, maybe when the kids grow up a bit and have more time to play.

Yup, definitely need to get me a vinyl cutter.... :thumbsup

Oh yes, nice car too! :D :D

The decals really add to it Don, useful piece of kit.

I really like that new spoiler, looks great.

And the yellow V6 that came with it looks amazing too. :D 8)

How much decals did you have to make and sell to buy that D?

Nice colour too, but I'm biased. It also matches your helmet and visor 8)

Has it the rooftop conversion?

Stu P and yourself will have some epic duels on track I imagine.

Steve.

Edited to add.... Just wait until it's run in. You will love it.

I've still to do the roof conversion but I have a soft top and parts for it. :)
