the tripoddy thing pictured above, designed to stop the turbo from flexing/moving as there's a lot of weight in it

not much progress over last couple of months, but now finished fitting lights, grills etc to clams:

some progress since last update: handbrake cable fitted (works well) - new clutch master cylinder fitted (waiting for ECS bleeder block for slave cyliner end) - gear linkage/cables (S2 Toyota) all connected up - cooling system all connected - Stack gauges and GAWR dash fitted (not wired in yet) - seats trial fitted.
Sorting out fuel lines just now. Electrics/wiring final job - will post some pics soon.

some further developments:
Had a helpful visit from the owner of a Miami Blue S2 Audi Exige (400+bhp): think there's another Miami Blue S2 down south

I've ordered one of these to connect the Lotus braided clutch line to the VAG slave cylinder:

I'm busy with final oil and breather plumbing in, using PTFE Nylon braided lines and black AN fittings from Torques - good stuff
