cheers Robin,
appreciate your thoughts on this, I'll check out what your saying here, with my engine builder. Should be ok, as this is a tried and tested conversion, with plenty of Audi turbo engined Elise's out there now.
Yeah I think you'll be fine 'cos you've got a dump valve at the throttle - that's what I think the S2 240 S/C was missing. Obviously you need to tune it to go "woosh" in a pleasing way

cheers Robin, I'll let you know when I'm up and running ....meanwhile my inlet is done and on, just needs a filter now to fit onto the end.
it's all very snug, I may need to add some heat protection later.

so finally my clutch bleeder block arrives from the USA, ordered in March! - yes I know there's a global pandemic going on....but this is the last time I order anything from USA, unexpected customs charge of £30 puts the total cost of this little fella at a whopping £160!!!!
- it's about 3 inches long!

yes it is.
meanwhile, as it's going to be a while before this gets finished I've been wanting to find a nice S1 Elise, and brought this home today:
it's a really nice. low mileage (30k) 111S, brought back from Japan, it's very clean underneath, no corrosion at all.

bit of an update...electrics are being sorted. I'm having a new loom made specifically for this as a modified car, rather than buy a Lotus loom and modify it.
Fuse box being made up:
switch panel with starter button & toggle switches:
stack gauges:
front and rear clam looms:
new main loom being fitted to car this week with GAWR dash fitted too.
