And the rest cars I recognise from here:

The reason I ask, other than the excellent composition in your shots, is that I was looking at the EXIF data on some of the pics and I see that the white balance was set to manual and indeed has been altered in a few.
I am no expert in photography and have yet to try using anything other than auto white balance.
You have managed to get excellent motion blur in most of the pics by using a slow shutter speed. Unfortunately, I think this has also resulted in some of the cars also being blurry.
At track days, I tend to set the camera to shutter speed priorty and keep it above about 1/250th. I also try to review the results on th LCD to see if they are sharp. I normally use a 70-300mm zoom so you may get away with a slower speed with a "shorter" lens. You may have struggled to get speeds of 1/250th or faster on Sunday due to the poor light for much of the morning. To counter act this you can up the ISO a wee bit to say 400.
Apologies if you already know this,as I said I am no expert.

Thanks Stewart! I am an SLR virgin, I used to have Sony V1 which had all manual control apart from the focus (and the auto was very slow).Stewart wrote:Good work Ross.
