I remember that episode with such fondness!

Some of us had actually jetwashed our cars earlier that morning at Pedro's filling station (!), and we all set of from Jaca full of the joys. A wee bit up the road we encounter Spain's answer to M25 widening (which in fairness the Brits could learn a bit from), which involves keeping the road open AT ALL COSTS.

However if that means you all drive through an inch of red Spanish mud for 10 miles, then so be it. And if your name is Paul and you like to max it out and do the odd wheelspin and donut on the way through, well, you can see the results for yourselves...

I think later owners were still bailing the stuff out of nooks and crannies for years later...

Totally classic pic. Even if I say so masel'.

There are not many pickups about these days, very rare.

My one has sat in my garage for 2 years now,and never turned a wheel.Must get it up to KH this year again, perhaps to some of Brunty,s days and blow the dust off it.(and also get that supercharger fitted on it)

Another of my friends had a mint one until about 18 months ago, and i've another mate whose selling his Van, complete with matching half van trailer

What 'charger are you fitting? Still got an A series? I started designing a set-up to use a new MINI eaton m45 for my last mini. Just as i was getting into it, i had a chap at the door wanting to buy the car, sold it and ended up with the elise :)
