I just traded in my silver 98 S1 for this beauty!
2004 111R
I had my heart set on an Exige at some point in the near future, but this caught my eye at a dealer in Dundee. The salesman made me a great trade in offer on my S1 and since I wasn't looking forward to trying to sell it in an already crowded market, I just went for it. Glad I did!
Only got it this morning and been at work all day, so not really got a feel for it yet. Roll on the weekend!
First impressions tho are that it feels rock solid and far more refined compared to the S1, and doesn't crash over the bumps like my S1. Interior is so much more plush too.
Oh and Simon, you'll be disappointed to hear it has NO hard-top!

Looks really good
Which Dealer did you use? I am sure Autoecosse (? sp) in near Monifieth had a red 111R recently when I drove past.

Congrats. Looks good.
I am not certain but I think the SE merry go round is in play again. I think LotusLee may have sold this to buy my S1 135 before he sold that to buy his S2 exige.

You're right, it was the one that was in AutoEcosse!
Never bought a car from a dealer before. Was pleasantly surprised! The guys at AutoEcosse went out of their way to make sure the car was in tip top condition before I took ownership!
Just been out for a spin in it, and it feels seriously quick compared to the S1. Terrifying actually! Lol! Was laughing like a maniac the whole time! Must have looked like a right idiot!

Wow.. a "spotted" before you even bought it
The sales guy is a friend of Rossybee so I am sure you are in good hands.

That'll be the 2nd cam then?!

Mine still does that to me! Will never tire of it!
Nice one! Looks cool. I agree with John though . . . you should get the wheels done black. AndyG's black exige wheels always looked great against the red.
Enjoy!

Excellent

Was that you taking the S1 on a last drive down the Perth Road this morning then? A mate at work said he'd seen a silver S1 the last few days and it had a hard top on, I figured it must've been you
And that is indeed Lee's old car, wonder how it ended up there.

Nah, wasn't me! There must be someone else with a silver S1 and a hard-top addiction!
Was wondering if anyone would recognise the car since I noticed that the previous owner was from Dundee.

Yes its something else when the second cam comes on isn't it! Everything just goes nuts! It's gives a really manic character!
I agree, Andy's car looks fantastic with the black wheels. Seen it a couple of times at KH.
I'll think about it!
Cheers for all the comments!

Well done. I would have a good look at the chasis though as it had a bit of a dent in it after I slid into a tree one time.
Only joking, the car never suffered any accident damage while I had it and it seemed a bit quicker than the other 111R Demo's/courtesy cars I drove at the time. Looks like my old cars are coming back to haunt me

Anyone know if my old scandal green s160 is still in Dundee ? I used to see it quite a lot but not for a while now.
