No damage to the car just a bit of grass in the air intakes , wheels etc , so no harm done . Thankfully I carry the old tow rope for such eventualities so swung into recovery mode again and we were quickly on our way.

Came round a corner to find a massive puddle across the entire road (the kind you really don't want to even attempt to get through!). Brian, in front, swerved to the right to get through the shallower bit. I moved over to do the same, but a car came the other way and so I had to stop, roughly in the middle of the road.
