That's me!
Did I look like I was going increadibly slowly? This wet weather thing really gets me scared!

It was the Perth Road at 8.10am, you should of been going slowly
Re: wet weather, just drive it like a regular car in the wet and you have nothing to worry about.

You were going slowly, as Scott says it was Perth road at rush hour, but hey i was cycling my little touche off on my bike, so you wouldnt have seen me all lycra'd up!

The problem is I never really drove a normal car in the wet... I've owned a Mini for the past 5 years, and have become so used to knowing exactly how much understeer i'd get that I used to just thrash it around in the wet much like I did in the dry!
I'm considering some skid pan tuition (or does anyone know a nice big empty car park

)

Car parks aren't big or free of islands etc these days for that very reason

Seriously tho, in the wet as long as you don't floor it half way round a round-a-bout you'll be fine. Just take your time and build up confidence slowly, exactly as you probably did with the mini...
..and as you have an S1, if it's nicely set up, you'll eventually realise understeer, is a thing of the past
