Got a few wanky words in but didn't get the job :(

Not overy miffed about that, the end of the day it's not my decision, even if they have made the wrong one  Turns out I hadn't read the description carefully and it was a 6 week secondment with no pay rise by the looks of things but still a good opportunity.

What I am particually miffed about is how I found out. No call as promised (Everyone else got one) not an e-mail this morning even, I found out when one of my team asked one of the other managers :x (My TM isn't in today) Definatly not happy finding out last :protest:

Going to request that under Data Protection I can see everything they have in writing on me, so going to have a look at it, see what they actually put. Got a debrief from one of the other managers later.

That's a shocking way to find out Rich. Sorry to hear. That surely must be against some kind of HR law, for other people to know before you?

It's the way quite a few places work I'm afraid.

Rather than asking for what info they have on you it might be better to ask for "feedback" from the interviewing panel.

Sounds like you dodged the bullet tho.

My feedback has been "We'll tell you Monday" :(

I want to see what they have put down because all the interviews round here are done to a

Surfing monster at the moment but jobs are sparce round here unless I want to be on the phones forever!

They keep saying how they want to keep me here, well they better start doing somehting about it as I'm particually miffed at the moment and looking to do something about it....

Time to go back to school perhaps...?

Poor show with the comminucation. Sounds like it wasn't the job you had hoped for anyway.

I was in my current job for 2 months before I got it confirmed... which caused all sorts if issues because my old manager decided that since nothing was official he would get me to cover some work for his team while people were off sick... piggy in the middle.

 Yup, still got the porker!

I have a fuel rail and injectors of a 2l duratec (Lines up perfectly :thumbsup) brackets for said rail (Old set of vernier calipers were all that were to hand at the time ), an adjustable FPR and enough pipe. I'm missing a bit of hard soldering, an ECU and a bit of wiring then its an EFI 924! :D
