Roger that.

As with some other key parts of my minor maintenance programme at the Jedi Temple back in March, I did this bit myself - after some goading - and it was FFFFFFFtight to get to 205Nm, especially for a wee guy like me ... Robin laughed almost as hard as Fd did when I was doing up the head bolts.

Happy days :-)

Just swapped to the M16 front bearing clamp bolts on the RLC - 210Nm on those, but much easier access, was almost too easy to do them up ;-)

Cheers,

MMC..... strange it lasted 18 months before it failed.

And it happened after a spirited run over Dukes pass... I may have over revered it on a down shift... but I dont know.

If you didn't need it for Thurs, Kiwi Rog at Sabre Heads could work some magic on your head or supply a worked-over one in exchange etc, I think. Quality work.

Dan and I talked about going fo the big valves but time is against us.

The Walshy day is paid in advance and I am already past the point of no refund...

Spending enough this time as it is without messing any more with the head and valves...

If it goes again... (which Dan says it wont cos he's building it this time) then I will go for bigger valves.

Done enough now, all I want is an emerald... but if somebody is giving away a set of direct throttle bodies..
