Had a play following a Corsa VXR. bloody hell their quick. Going to dig out the EVO review that I skipped over.

I recon that if he had stickier tyres I wouldnt have been able to keep up with him... he struggled to get the power down through the twisty bits, you could se the front end jigling all over the place with the torque steer. Looked great fun though.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Yep...damn quick cars those VXR's.. Corsa is just as quick as the Astra, but I'd imagine it 'may' be better than the Astra in the twisties since it's smaller/lighter.

There was a lovely one in the Sighthill showroom a few months back (nice Recaro's), but was pushing £18K !! Couldn't quite justify to the wife that we needed one when we have the Elise tucked away for fun... hence, we bought the Fiesta.
