Good fun (and cold!) trackday. :D Thanks to Tut, Jamie and Steve for the pax laps. Tut - great fun as always, just a shame the oil spill put a short end to it. Jamie, the car is awesome and I really enjoyed the sideways action. Steve - what can I say . . . fantastic mate! I had no idea you were such a good driver. Definitely up there in my top pax laps of all time! 8)

Good to see all the usual faces and to meet a few new ones!

I think there was oil down at McIntyres from that Volvo....and despite the efforts to clear it, the rain brought some of it back to life.

Loads of spinners there...and it isn't usually the corner that gets most spinners.

Another great SIDC trackday, Cheers John :thumbsup

The Volvo lost most of it's oil early on and caused a length stop. It was  first few laps back out with the dust on the oil trail, couldn't see the car in front even although it was only around 10ft away.

 1st faux pax of letting the car roll back in the pits, muppet

Car was fantastic today as always keep planning to do a walshy day or some of the bigger tracks to get more out of the car but as usual time flies and haven't quite got there :(

Welllllll, today didn't turn out as planned - but for the better :D

Intentions were to mosey on down to KH for about 10am (check) to do some chatting & paxing - swithered over how to get there - decided Snot was the best option until about 10 miles out of Dundee when I realised it was fcuking brassers and I didn't have much fuel

Even got a spluttering at ***Tuts en route whilst making progress on a long right hander which I assume was fuel starvation - eventually made it to Kinross with 0 litres showing on the gauge

Got to KH - enjoyed the craic, meeting folks, saying that I was just here paxing, so signed on for this. The rain came on about 1045 so thought I'd pop the tonneau on the Snot up in the paddock. As I was fecking about with it, John Stewart walks past & starts chatting, saying there was a couple of spaces now available if I was interested

1 swiftly filled & returned form, and I was pottering down the pitlane with ma lid on, gave Jason a wave & thumbs up  & straight out on track

Put in many laps, used a full tank in under 2 hrs, and had a fecking ball 8)

The Snot seemed mega progressive, was getting loverly balanced slides out of virtually every corner - and shock horror - no spin at the hairpin!!!  (even managed to give Kenny a wave with a dab of opp lock whilst he was grass cutting :P )

I suspect I was taking it more canny due to being an impromtu visit, binning it would've been more painful :?

So, many thanks to John S for offering me the place - I had an absolute cracking day :D :D :D

The standard of driving was superb IMHO - the only exception was the black Dax Cossie who seemed determined that he should stick to the left the full length of the main straight  - and surprise of the day was the white mini - lovely quick wee thing - does anyone know what it was?

Another excellent day sharing your track - thank you all very much. Hope my 720 degree spin amused everyone. Judging by the round of applause I got returning to the pits it proved quite popular. Tried to blame the slippery kerbs but we all know it's really just down to the muppet at the controls......

Nice to see Tut in the mirrors being slowly dropped off despite my heavy passenger. Makes a change from being passed by him previously. That'll be the difference between the Yoko 48's rather than T1R's on the Atom.

Many thanks to John for organizing the day as always. And another thank you from my brother-in-law on his first ever track day, out in the black Golf GTi and apologies to anyone we held up.

Anyone else on the RMA 2 day closed session at the Nurburgring in November?

RWD and bike engined from what I saw of it in the pitlane - sounded cool. I saw you out on track but not in pitlane, probably for the best after the caravan outing incident, I`ll continue to lay low until you forget

I'm intrigued - did anyone chat to the owner?

Seen their stuff at the Autosport Show before - seem very thorough

I had a great day today. My car seemed to be going really well and my first attempt at changing the brake fluid (along with the discs and pads) was a complete success but I'm braking too early so I was having to come off the pedal a little before going back on. Had some great slides at the hairpin in the rain too :)

Oh and I also passed Kenny and DDtB :D :P

It fitted with a motor cycle engine chain drive it fitted with a motor cycle engine chain drive rear end by the look of it Radiator and fuel tank up front and all metal construction ~ what ever happened to Aluminum skinned doors and fiberglass and perspex?
