Just got a full set from Eliseparts so they do exist. Will fit for my little road trip later this month if forecast to be wet. 048s will not be much fun on M6 nevermind Oulton if it is peeing down.

39's are the way to go but just can't get them just now for a decent price :(

I'm running 888's this winter, to be honest I don't mind as they are fine in downpours with just enough twitching present to remind you to be careful!

Can you get AO21Rs for a elise?

They are very popular in 7 circles as an all round tyre

Also known as AD07s. Standard on all new Elises these days.

GDR, how much were the AO39s?

600 miles is 'not lasting long'... less than 10 mins is 'not lasting long' .. 6000 miles?!?... do tyres really last that long???

I'd pay that, but definitely not the £625 eliseparts are after! I can't believe they are more expensive than 48s!

As advertised £625 plus VAT. Carriage free at least. Outrageous I know but all relative (the big rear GY F1 Fioranos for the Ultima were coming in at £700 each).
