bit dear, especially for a 1988 car.

My VTS Saxo (99) was just shy of a grand and (if I hadn't stripped it) would be ideal for the commute - comfy, elec windows etc - and no weight in the tail - ideal for winter!
Sounds great (don't mind it stripped to be honest the idea of a super rigid, ultra light car really appeals TBH. I don't mind no ICE thanks to Andy and his splendid Shures I don't even need noise deadening. How much room is there in them (Saxos) - I'm 6'4. How many miles did it have etc (just to get an idea).
