I have a 90" screen - HD projector, contrast is perfect, works in light conditions too - lovely handbuild screen permanently attached to my wall. Total cost, inc screen build & paint (special projector paint), £1,800.00.

Looks the baws! :D

I have a 120 incher. HD Projector recessed into a wall (and hidden by a tapestry when not in use) pointing at a screen recessed into the ceiling (and err... hidden behind a roof beam when not in use) all wired up to a Sony multi speakery surround sound thingy (turned OFF when not in use). Wendy even bought me a popcorn maker for xmas last year :popcorn

Mind you.. 99.9% of the time I watch tv on one of them fairly bulky normal 32" boxes that most folk throw out these days

Man,

I would love to get my screen bigger - its slap bang on front of my bed - use it for my 360 and watching DVD's etc, not a lot else.

Downstairs Pioneer 50" plasma - feels tiny in comparison. It's used for Corrie and Eastenders (It's her telly). Oh, and heating the livingroom.

lmao ^^^^

BTW if anyone fancies a Phillips 32" CRT with the stand... then I'll likely have one going to a good home after this weekend. Just bought a new LCD thingy for the 2nd room and really have nowhere to put the CRT.

There's nowt wrong with it and I know the remote is in the room here somewhere. Obviously I ain't delivering.

We had this in the atrium at our Company HQ for a week. It's huge and I didn't think the picture was up to much really. I can also vouch for the amount of heat it produces too.

pah.... I've just quoted for two £86,000 HD projectors.... 20,000 ANSI lumens each...... you should see the size of image they can project!!!

It's like staring into the sun if you walk in front of them though 8)
