I've loved cheering Neil on this year. His effort and commitment has been great to watch. However, when you consider that this was done:

1. In his rookie season.
2. On a tiny budget. Some of the sums of cash a few of the others have spent is eye watering...
3. In effectively an underdeveloped road car...
4. ...that he's driven to every race and back and used for work as well as on the French Frolic/ring trip
5. In an ill handling car that is hard work to drive quickly

Then consider his performance over the year, podium finishes, developing race craft and outright relative speed compared to a lot of other cars that just ought to be way way quicker...then it makes what he has achieved this year all the more special.

Also consider his poor car. I know we've had some troubles with it this year and Neil has had a love hate relationship with it (-: However, in absolute terms, mile for mile, his car has really done him proud and is probably one of the most reliable cars on the grid. In fact, had I been Sinclaire's, I'd have pumped a bit more time and effort into Neil's car when you consider that it is 100% their road Honda conversion that anyone could go and buy. Way this up against the fact that Neil has driven this Sincs Honda converted car as hard as anyone could ever drive one of their conversions and they really have missed a trick I reckon.

Anyway, it's been a real privilege being part of it all in my own small way and I'm looking forward to next year already.

Cheers
Kelvin.
