Enjoying a nice family day at the moment, however will be home for Top Gear and will get some photos up. In case anyone thought they were passing Kev a lot, I was out there too in a grey S2 for my first track day and also felt like a moving chicane at times, especially early on when really wet. Hope I didn't hold anyone up too much through the corners. I want to blame my balding Bridgestones in the wet, but a 'moment' in the warm up laps at Dufus followed by another at Clarks on my first open lap didn't do much for my confidence and spent the rest of the time slowly trying to build it back up. I was right behind you at Clarks when that happened, looked like you'd gone in too hot, tried to scrub some speed, locked up then you were facing me about 2 yards in front! I'd started experimenting with trail braking into Clarks toward the end of the day. I really thought it felt like it was making a difference and was getting more drive out of the corner, the experts will tell me if thats BS or not. I just over stepped the mark on that occasion, was too hot as you say and the back went and there was no way I could collect in time. I was more concerned about the Red scooby that was directly behind me.
