What rotten luck to end the year, but at least you are alright. Hope the repairs go ok.

Just read this, glad you're ok Ken. You were needing a new front plate anyway

Hope you're not sore for long, take it easy. Let me know if theres anything I can do.

Sorry to hear that mate, I'm still needing to get my clam fixed after hitting a cat. I'm going to get it done at Myles Coachworks in Ayr. They've done work for me before and it was absolutely first class.

Hope you're feeling better Ken, you walked away which is the main thing. The car can be fixed and you'll be driving again in no time.

Jeez Ken, sorry to hear it mate. Glad that you're okay - 'tis the main thing. The car'll get fixed.

I have to say, if it's an insurance job, I'd be tempted to get it over to Steve Walker with all the experience he's got and all the good reports I've heard over the years.

Tut,

The telegraph pole is dead it was in rather damp ground and was not in use as I suspect they thought it needed replacing anyway. So I have just confirmed that for them

It definately an insurance job, front splitter is away (needed new one anyway), front clam has telegraph pole hole in it and crash structure looked bent. I think listening to all the stories I will insist it goes to Steve Walker.

Thanks everyone for the kind words especially Tut  You are all very right cars don't matter people do :!:

Life always has a way of putting things in perspective last year I sepnt Christmas in Austria skiing with friends, they went back again this Christmas however I decided to spend time with my parents. Just heard that Glenn had an accident and broke his neck and is paralysed and probably will never walk again. :?

After a short debate my car is off to Steve Walker's Bodyshop. They say that they have a collection of Lotus cars all ready in their garage - oh joy!

I think SE has been kepping him busy over the last 3-4 months. Mine is in there at the moment! Should be getting her back in a week or two. So if you see a purple S1 it's mine

Glad you've got that sorted Ken and it's off to somewhere you can trust. Does Steve Walker check the crash structure/suspension/steering/etc too or does he just do bodywork?
