well. 14.40 in the PM o Friday afternoon. I feel f*cking rancid.

No idea how I'm going to pass the time, so I thought I'd post some drivel and here's the only place to do it...

Out with benny & a mate last night. Messy. Pubs, "clubs" and the casino. Profitable night, but awoke to various text messages from the other half with sweary words. She never uses sweary words.

So, thinking of taking her out tonight to say sorry. Then, the other side of me thinks she should know better than to get upset about p!ssups (especially ones I've got a pass for) and keep my cash. Tricky one.

Easy life = take her out to dinner, but if I do, am I making life difficult in the long-run? Is taking her out to dinner like admitting defeat (or worse, like admittingI was wrong?)

Keep burping bacon roll. was pleasant to begin with, now not so good. Drinking lemsip, making no difference. 2nd litre of water. Thinking about a coffee.

Always unpleasant when you awake with a poledancer's pubes in your teeth...

Why was she texting you swearyness? Did you call her and pass the phone to the stripper too?

In my book, dinner is only really a pre-cursor to some Nat King Cole. Now, when I am hungover, I want to get to my scratcher ASAP in the evening, so dinner tonight would be a waste of time and money.

So going by my rationale, you want to be booking dinner for tomorrow night - it will help alleviate the "problems" you caused last night, and you wont be too tired to make use of the romantic gesture.

hmm, been having chat with work colleagues about dinner. was thinking of semi-cheap itallian round the corner from flat as a wee "surprise." According to bird at work, this almost equates to a negative gesture.

Birds. What's that all about?

Prob a good idea to get the bird out of the flat tonight though, she'll not be too impressed that I've emptied one of the cupboards into the hall in some daft attempt to find ... I can't actually remember what it was I was looking for. Hmm. Wonder if I found it.

Now needing the toilet. cba going to the loo though. Can't see incontinence as a way of getting on in the world though.

being considered complete drunken skiver by all & sundry. Care factor = 0. handed n notice last week so they can whistle for it.

Down into the last 1.5 hours. Think I'll go to the loo soon, that's bound to use up a few vital minutes. Will get coffee too.

Throat hurts. Keep laughing wildly at the thought of Benny getting (almost) thrown out of the "club" for dancing with no money. Cracking.

Uptade:

have now been for pee, almost taking me into the last hour of today.

Thinking now about going for that coffee. Only problem i preceive is the potential for meeting people in the kitchen area. Can't be bothered with another "is that booze I smell?" comment.

Thinking now that coffee is a good idea. Can I stand the potential for there being no milk on a Friday afternoon? Chances are around 80% of such a disappointment. Quite fancy a really milky coffee.

Will reoprt back once I've plucked up the courage to go for one...

best bit of chat today GregR.

Which pastures new are you heading for?

Take her out for dinner, go somewhere nice and spoil her.

Your weekend will be painful otherwise, and you'll be earning brownie points while you eat (well).

Try to polish up your ramblings before sharing them with her though

success!!!

Coffee, milk (50-50) and 2 sugars (as a treat to me).

One of the most difficult manoeuvres of the day successfully accomplished. Almost convinced the secretary I wasn't still a bit hosed. Fell apart when she told me I'd been wandering about with a coaster stuck to the bottom of my cup. Must take more notice in future.

Now only 40 minutes left in the working day, and I've been thinking about the dinner situation. Being true to myself, the male population and my wallet I think I'm going to order a ruby murry. Bottle of wine, possibly a wee bottle of fizz on the money saved.
