I've distant plans for hijacking my folks house for some sort of Gatecrash-Towers '09, but not sure I could get it all together in time for '08 without LOTS of help having seen the effort that goes into TT. How far in advance do you book the track/hotels Tut?

Graeme

Ideally I started around November, but last years was a bit spur of the moment and it was almost the end of January.

Dates are first, May or June and none Bank holiday weekends, which you then have to tie in with KH for a Friday 1300-1700.

Next is Friday nights destination and Hotel, a guestimate of numbers as you can not put up the database yet, and arranging dinner. Saturday was Old Deer with a decision on a meal for around 90, then booking all the local accommodation for those that wanted confirmed beds, with the other 50 sleeping here.

The Invercauld Arms at Braemar seemed to work well for Sunday, so I staid with that.

Dead easy really.
