Urgent Advice Please... Got a front shock and spring spare?!

Post by Rich H » Sun Apr 02, 2006 3:33 pm

Gents,

Bit of advice, if you would oblige...

Booked on KH Hy-performance trackday trg tomorrow night but my front left damper sprang a leak (Pics in a bit) yesterday during some "spirited" driving over Glenshee and Cairn-o-mount (Probably a speed bump on the way to the Cairn) Bangs like mad but still seems to be damping, no handling problems that I can tell, but a v. crashy ride.

Should I:

1. Delay trackday until my S2 setup arrives (~£75 to rebook at this late stage)

2. Live with it with the "if you can drive this you can drive anything" mentality?

Any suggestions?

Cheers
Rich

Providing it's not going to collapse...live with it.
But then again, £75 to rebook means next KH with new suspension you can have a good play pushing the car further to the limits!

Just leaking at the mo. Noisy as hell though.

Hopefully my S2 suspension will be here next week.

I'll come and get them now if that's ok. I'm going to have to fit them tonight probably. No time tomorrow as I'll be at work all day.

PM me your address and I'll be with you in an hour or so!

Cheers, I'll owe you several beers at least! Pity, I posted your rope yesterday....
