new menber /track day enquiry

hi just discovered scottish elises,my name is brian and i own an s1 in yellow. i also run a small garage workshop in shawlands glasgow which specialises in alfa romeo repairs,i have carried out some modifications to a vvc head and am keen to test at knockhill on any track sessions you guys might be organising.

Hello... I don't believe SE organise track days as such, and instead many tend to go on the Hot Marques or an SIDC day to Knockhill. There is the Alfa Romeo Owners Club who organize track days though (I think) and I'm sure some of the elise/exige owners from here attended a couple of AROC sessions last year (might be of interest if you are an Alfa Specialist??)

SIDC trackday on the 15th March, usually more Loti than any other marque.

Brian - I live down the road from your garage - I'm a previous customer both with my old car (GTV) and you worked on my Elise once.

I've also phoned a couple of times recently for advice on 156s that I've been looking at buying - still haven't got one yet.

I rememeber you mentioned a while back that you were thinking of getting an Elise - are you planning on expanding your area of speciality to include Elises (a count yesterday reckoned there were about 15 in the South Side!) or is this just a project for yourself?

Re trackdays - what the others said about the Impreza Drivers Club days - very well run.
