Used to live in York - the B1257 was a cracker in my Mk1 MR2 days - quite fancy another run in the Exige

Is anyone wanting to head down on the Saturday taking the scenic route?

Have got a room in the Inn, can I put my name down for the curry run please.

Hm.

I think that with about a month to go, I ought to get about phoning the restaurant!!

I wonder how many more than 30 they can manage...may need to put a limit on now!

Will try to talk with them in next couple of days and report back. There is a possibility they'll ask if we could run as two tables, or stagger the booking...so stay tuned :-)

Campbell

PS - going to have a look at the route south soon, too. "TT" suggestion noted ;-)

Don't go thanking me until it's all gone without a hitch ;-)

I think I am getting excited though...first trip out with the crew in months, car about to be "prepped" with kind help from McKean and FBF...might even find time to polish it around Easter!

Routeplanning underway too. Mmmmmm :-)

Polish it... bloody hell, better dig out the hammerite for the rusted grills and try to find some silver duck tape instead of that dark grey stuff... didnt know this was going to be a posh doo.
