Vegas - Video HOSTED ;)

Post by Gareth » Mon Apr 17, 2006 2:36 pm

Please don't ask,

How Vegas was?
What we got up to?
How much $ was spent?

It's alot like "The First Rule of Fight Club"

Don't talk about fight club

Anyway, I have some video footage of the shooting range.
Blasting some M16's and other crazy sh*t.
Quite funny, one afternoon we went on a General Motors driving afternoon getting the tail out on a Corvetter and off road in a Hummer. You had to pass a breathaliser test but no one asks you anything when given a serious weapon such as a M16 or a MP40 that could wipe out a room of people in 2 seconds.

Couple of me looking surprisingly comfortable - actually what an eejit!

So if anyone could host one of two vids I would appreciate it.

Had a shot of loads of different firearms before the laws changed in the late 80s
Magnum bloody heavy as i remember and rather awwsome at blowing up turnips :?
Kaleshnikoff not exactly for a day at the grouse couldnt hit a thing at 20 feet with it handed it back thinking thank god for that..
Thankfully use a little more refined and built for my job firearms that can still able to stop foxes at 1000m so not toys by any means....................

I went to a shooting range run by the military in Phnom Penh, Cambodia a few years ago. They have every type of weapon you can imagine and I got to throw a hand grenade ($40) and fire a rocket launcher ($200). For an extra $200 they would throw in a live cow for you to shoot at, but my girlfriend of the time wouldn’t allow that… and after just seeing the way she threw grenades around I wasn’t going to argue!
They told me it was mostly the yanks that took the live cow option, no surprise there!

We just got to shoot targets. Paper ones with pics of Bin Laden and Saddam.
My mate asked the owner of the shop who just happened to have a 2 berretas on his gun belt....."Do you have one of George Bush?"

I nearly fell over laughing.....

Guy was NOT very happy!!
