Off to see some nice cars on Thursday (NLC)

Post by dezzy » Wed Apr 16, 2008 12:09 am

One of my friends got invited to some corporate hospitality thing where they are trying to sell packages for supercar hire. She's invited me along :D I don't get to drive them, but I will at least get to drool over some nice machines! 8)

Thats the same company that brought the cars up to RAF Leuchars, a few weeks ago. Very nice motors indeed. :thumbsup

Dezzy, one of my friends is General Manager for Rio, a chap called Ed Legge, and another really nice guy called Nicholas MacPherson. The whole team at Rio are ace, and the service from hear say is fantastic, the guys bending over backwards to make sure you are happy, and an awesome well maintained fleet! I say hear say as Ed is still to wangle me a deal on something nice, i do fancy the TVR for a day though!

Spent a few days down at MPH with them last year with Scotty F and Manifold, and never has so much been had in the Hilton hotel foyer! :D

Cheers,

Dave

My neighbour's brother does their photograpy. They once gave him the yellow 355 spider home for a night and asked him if he could drop it off at Edinburgh airport for a client the following morning ! My neighbour is also hoping to wangle a deal for something nice for the day.

I went along for 10 mins today just after 12, was cool to get a look round the Zonda and the K`egg - the dude showed us the door hinge, what a cool bit of kit that is 8)

I`d have a Zonda out the two though.....

Dave, I didn't manage to catch Ed Legge, but a couple of the other staff new you and ScottyF. They were speaking very highly of Manifold and they were also talking about a very drunken night with you guys! Seems they know you well!

Had a seat in the Zonda. What a beast! The interior is just out of this world. Love the round brake pedal! The purple Koenigsegg was lovely too. 8)

Looked like a good day. I saw the 32P Zonda at the Scottish Motorsport Show about a year ago up at Larkhall. I reckon I would take the Koenigsegg if I ever had the chance.
