Tut, I can be there to help out from 08:00 (although will need to lay off the booze on the Saturday night! ) As Campbell says, I'd like to go enjoy the speedfair later on, so I'm hoping most people can get there nice and early so we can organise them all and then go enjoy ourselves.

Campbell . . . car washing . . . you know that's what I'll be spending this entire weekend doing!! ;) :D

Thanks Steve.

Campbell and Dezzy

Don't worry, the early stint is the important part in deciding the layout of the cars. Once we have that established, cars arriving after 1000 can slot in, or we will have another volunteer to help out.

Obviously the 35 cars going on track will be lining up separately as directed by KH, then joining the rest in the paddock.

Cars wishing to leave before the Grand Parade lap, hopefully few, will have to let it be known so that they do not get blocked in. As there are 95 of us, plus the Club Lotus contingent, to get out onto the track, that will be a separate planning operation, and a unique event in Scotland. Mind you, we were not too far behind for tuttowers.

Scottish TV will be filming, so all we need is the weather for what should be an enjoyable day.

tut

ps I believe it is also a Ferrari Anniversary, who are also making it a special event, and are parked nearby to us in the Paddock.

er... Mine is kinda held together with S1 tape at the moment, is that going to be ok?

It is colour coded S1 tape if that helps.

Mandy's out washing ours at present and then going to attack it with a claybar (poor thing won't know what's hit it)

Tomorrow before I go to the HM session I'm going to attempt some reconstruction work of the front end - all going well it should be looking halfway decent by next weekend.

As for the caterham - heh - it's a race car, it's going to have character marks :D

Thanks tut :thumbsup I'm hoping that I can convince Heather (heds) to get out of bed early too and come along to help out, so can you put her down too as we're more than likely to come up together (in both cars) and will both help with the parking/organisation? Thanks!

Mac, so far this morning (from 8am), I've foam-gunned, washed with 2 bucket method, rinsed, pat dried, clayed, scrubbed wheels, applied a coat of wheel sealant, and dressed tyres. Phew! This afternoon it's 3 polishing steps to get rid of swirls (inflicted by MMC) and then tomorrow it'll be sealant, wax and interior. :D  :D

I promise I will drive it too though! :D

You really must explain this "two bucket" method at some point - I'm sure it's not as dull and obvious as it sounds :D

I fully expect to find the car badly washed and Mandy half cut on the decking with a bottle of wine in the other hand and a sponge in the other.

The caterham might get treated to a blast with the power washer - I need to get the muck off that I kicked up at Duffas last time out :D

Hamish

No need for Lachlan to book, he can just turn up on Friday and sign on for pax laps, and/or come along on Sunday and join us for the S_E Spectacular.
