The first round of Time Attack is being broadcast tomorrow evening 8.30pm on Motors TV channel 413.
Anyone want to record it for me as I don't get Motors TV.

It's ok you aren't missing anything its utter gash so far.
10mins in and yet to show any footage of track action, just a crap soundtrack, sh*t production and a truly awful presenter.

Yeah I was gutted they didnt show any of your driving or I could have told you how crap you were too

Joking aside it would have been nice if they had spoken to or featured a bit more of the club racers.

In car video from Sunday. Managed a 57.7 in the final lap 3 but only gave me a 13th place in FI.
Good fun though in a relatively low power car.

Hitting those kerbs so hard really looks like it unsettles the car especially the one at the top of duffus. It also seems to push you off line (well maybe what I think is the correct line) I tend to go in deeper under braking at the end of the pit straight then that sets me up for the right hand side of the track going down through duffus. This then makes the braking for the right hander (not sure its name) a lot easier as you are coming in straighter and if you get it right a lot faster.
Just my 2p.
Like I said goods skills.

Re: The Underdog in Time Attack ** Knockhill In Car Vid **
Yeh I tend to take a lot of kerb at duffus which does push you over to the left for the left kink but then I usually just take all that kerb too so no need to correct the line and get over to the right. Most of that is just hanging on and trying to get some power on then as soon as it is straight it's on the brakes for McIntyres.
I do think that sometimes too much kerb was slowing me down but some kerb was good. But then my fastest lap was lap 3 of the final and had plenty of kerb.
There's more than one way to skin a cat though and it's probably different in a lighter car which would be more unpset by kerbs and will corner at high speed with no drama. Although chatting to Mckean in the pits he was saying he takes a lot of kerb at duffus too.

Re: The Underdog in Time Attack ** Silverstone Results **
Excellent weekend again.
Started out never having been round Silverstone (Like Gav and Fee) and found it pretty simple to learn quickly.
Meant I was 5th fastest in the warm up in Club group A with a 1.09.097.
However I knew that everyone would get quicker.
Anyway started to enjoy the very late breaking into the first corner occasionally leaving it too late and running very wide on the exit right over the green matting and onto the tarmac beyond. It was quite a good line actually as you could just keep the power in and speed up.
Anyway just made the final in last position with a 1.06.847 and improved on it slightly on lap 2 of the final with a 1.06.339 which got me 14th place. Great.
Definately a bit of a power circuit as I expected. I was catching Terry Buckle in his subaru on the corner before the straight in the final and he was leaving me for dead on the straight.
I'll put video up soon.
Here's the final results.
