What a weekend. It was my first time driving on track on Friday, and soon got the hang of it.The run to Boness was good, and, today was even better, as i was more relaxed. Great weekend, FANTASTIC company. It would have not been the same without you guys. Especially Tut for organising the track events. Now im of rubbing in the aftersun cream .

Great day out today, strong SE contingent once again and nice to meet a few more SE'ers. Huge thanks to tut for organising everything, very much appreciated :D

The morning track session was fun, very busy in terms of traffic but a good demonstration and there seemed to be plenty of camera flashes from the crowd! I wonder how many future Lotus owners will have been inspired by todays event?

I'm now badly sunburnt so tomorrow at work will be fun

Victor Meldrew wrote:Bit confusion over the red flag.. the story I got was that and MSA official spotted a silver S1 Elise heading out on track with no seatbelt on. The run was red flagged and everyone came in. whoever t was must have put the belt on on the in lap as nobody was found without one when we all came in again....

very strange...

maybe it was someone who has both belts and harnesses fitted, and the official spotted the loose belt but missed the harnesses... cant think of any other explanation other than some twit did actually have his belt off.
John no names mentioned but yes you sort of have it correct - there was an eleventh hour entrant to the track session and his excitment he never strapped up he didn't have a harness on as well I believe

Fantastic day! Massive thanks to Tut :thumbsup You are a legend sir! :D You always seem to arrange the best weather ;) 8)

Thanks for squeezing myself and heds on track in the morning. Great wee session - that, along with Friday's session, has got me totally hooked on this track malarkey again!

Was great to see so many people there and the banter was good as always. Really enjoyed sitting with the SE crew on "The Embankment" watching the ferrari race. :D
