Hot Marques Evening
Thu 26th June
6pm - 8pm
Open session, for all cars valued at £10k or over!
Anyone planning to go along to this one

they seem to be making a point of the 10k limit perhaps in response to some of the hot hatch cars on the last couple of days

I'll not be going as it is the SIDC that weekend. I also think that there is a Glenrothes Motorsport night on the 27th -that *might* be a better bet.

Probably - but then if mine is then so should ever other cat.
Or is it just the drivers - in which case does that mean me,Andy,Neil,Malcolm,Eoin & Jamie aren't allowed on trackdays because of the license we hold?

I might do the 26th HM or 27th Glenrothes as will not be at SIDC on 28th. This year have only been to the very wet HM a few Sundays ago but last year went to lots and I thought driving standards not really much worse than other KH events tbh - apart from one instance of Sierra Cossy scrapper trying an undertake into hairpin which was not ideal. The £10k limit should have removed that particular hero by a good £8.5k. I think KH are now actually clamping down on Speed Sunday tactics at HM events though, and the Trackscotland track evenings I've been to recently have been fine from what I could see.
Glenrothes CC sounds like a more laid back experience, but I'm a bit wary of making the trek down without confirmation that I am booked and will definately get on track.

Wont be at this one due to the SIDC on the Saturday.
Wont be at the Glenrothes one after the email from them telling me how lucky i was to be off the track for 2 x 10 minute interval so i could enjoy listening to that muppet in the single seater drive round the track

I think the suggestion was that this was set to continue.
Last hot marques i was at the driving standards were pretty good and it was wet (from memory)

Thanks for heads up on Glenrothes Andy, if they repeat the shutdowns for single seater, I would be less than happy.
HM it is I think!
