You tried all the insurance comparison websites? That's what I did then picked one I'd heard of..... think my cheapest quote was £225

Re: Who's paying what ?
Guy at work recommended Keith Michaels Insurance as mentioned on Scooby net http://bbs.scoobynet.com/insurance-19/ . He is paying £240 for highly modified WRX b&&&&&d
I think having a G77 postcode loads it for some reason.
Being over 40 with a wife and kids brings it down

I'm in a wee village in lancashire and paying about £600 for 9yrs PNCB, 5K, class 1 business on a 2001 190bhp Exige with cover for trackdays... oh and I'm 40!
think I'll be looking at A-plan and Richard Eggar

Re: Who's paying what ?
I used to be with Adrian Flux on a Classic Car policy (with mods) since very few companies would touch me.... but was contacted a few weeks back by http://www.mayfaironline.co.uk and decided to let them quote me. They managed to save me £250. Flux wanted £650, mayfair was only £396 on a standard policy (with mods) and low excess.

Re: Who's paying what ?
I had no points and 1 yr NCB and paid just over half that with Admiral for an S2 Exige @ 22. Phil is only £650 on his S1 Exige so dont know why your insurance is so high? I would be phoning more specialist insurers if I were you.....Jamie84 wrote:24 , 8k , garaged , 1yr NC , decent postcode , 4 points (at renewal) ....£1400 with Admiral , £1600 last year , One mob quoted £6000!!! quotes ranges around 2/3/4 k ...Admiral blew the rest out the water , you old cnut dunno how lucky you are
