Well today I is mostly hacked off.....

Renault broke a spring... which tore out drivers side front tyre.... car not drivable.... AA recovery to decent garage....(who I do actually trust and have used for years)

Due an MOT and a service so might as well get them done at the same time.....

Front discs and pads worn well below the limit.. front disks cracks visible on disks....
Rear... discs cracks on discs...
Rear suspension bushings detatched from arms, (this was an advisory last time so cant really complain about this one)
New spring ..... new ARB drop links needed as both fronts were damaged when the sping broke.. one stretched the other bent.. as result of broken spring... New front tyre
Service and MOT.......

£1300....

Thats the hill climbing fund taken a serious hammering then..
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Woooooooooooooooow, an S6 Avant, very nice, but you have to think that £1300 may look cheap once you have a go at servicing the S6, never mind the fuel costs!
