Been keeping low profile for a bit.. had my long weekend away so been 100% family time since then. Must say that the weekend was just superb. Just what the doctor ordered to get me back into the folds of the Elise driving ethos...

Car still feels sh*t to drive with the un-matched front rear tires. I think I need to put a set of new rears on now to get better balance.

Khan is so much fun. The bruising has just about gone now  Big dogs play rough, but then so do I :thumbsup Must admit it was a nice warm welcoming feeling to have him curl up on my feet under the table and then find him lying next to me on the bed snoring. Just like being at home. You can tell I'm a dog person.

The evening meal was fantastic, god I wish Lesley could cook like Verian.

Was lovely meeting the family.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Great to see the three of you, and get some crack in again.

Enjoyed the run on Sunday, that was a bonus, and after we left you, Craig and I went home via Glenshee and the back roads and had a great run.

Think Khan is missing you John, he was rather subdued on Sunday. Kees and Susie are leaving today, so back to normal again.

Cheers

John

Your seat looks the same as mine.

However I wanted it moveable so Craig fitted it to the runners.

Thought about trying that but decided just to go with what Lotus spec in the manual for the mounting. Pretty sure a removable wheel is next on the list, can just about get my gut past it, no room for any further expansion

Why have you kept that crap piece of plastic on the gear lever?

There is a brass coloured rod underneath that polishes up nicely.

Tonight I will mostly be... enjoying the delights of Aberdeen at Taqa's expense. I have mostly travelled in style, first class, bye the way, how else can you get a seat on the train nowadays, the train is mostly pish.

Enjoyed a cheeky bottle of red.. not a wine expert so bought the most expensive screw top I could find... buggrit, why not relax and enjoy on my last night in the Uk for two weeks..

Lesley and Megan dropped me off at the station, this is the first time Megan has told me that she will miss me when I am gone, she is only four years old. There was a tear or two. funny how it is easier when there young enough that they dont understand.

Anyway, we have a 13.00hrs check in... so the night is young, there maybe beer, there may be lap dancing, its still early and I have more money in my pocket than is sensible.... buggerit.. enjoy life when I can..
