Alpine Stereo Stuff

And finally, the last of the kit that I bought for the Exige goes up for sale.

If you like your music on the go (as I do) and also some creature comforts such as handsfree phone (as I also do) then this could be the kit for you:

Firstly the PXA-H100 IMPRINT Sound Processor and KTX-H100 IMPRINT Sound Calibration Kit. When used with a compatible headunit the IMPRINT technology corrects for acoustic deficiences inside the car such as windows that reflect sound and roof lining/seats etc that absorb. Through adjusting the timings a clearer more precise sound is achieved. Basically as you crank the volume up there is less distortion.

Next there's the SWE-1000 Active Bass Tube which fits neatly behind any Exige/Elise drivers seat and provides a dedicated bass output which when combined with the above provides a richer, fuller sound.

And finally for those who like to communicate whilst on the go the KCE-350BT Bluetooth Interface which enable you to make and receive calls through a compatible headunit.

All of the above combined with a decent headunit such as the iDA-X100 or iDA-X305 provides one of the best sounds systems you can install with improved iPod interfacing through iPod Direct control. More information on compatibility and technical functions on any of the above kit can be found on the Alpine Europe website.

The kit for sale cost over £400 new and would be willing to let go as a job lot for £200. Also open to offers on individual parts but would prefer the job lot option to make things simple. Kit has been installed once and used for 6 months or so but all in full working order complete with cables, operating/fitting instructions etc.

Cheers
Graeme
