Sorted the speedo, throttle stutter and the panelgaps this evening so took it a run / brought it back up to town.

Looking at the reflections in windows as I headed back to the carpark made it all worthwhile, I love it, colour looks even better at night than in the daytime :D

very lovely indeed :thumbsup 8)

My only concern is that by sorting the panel gaps you'll ensure that everyone knows that t's not a real s1 exige :damnfunny
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

Aha, it emerges!

Love it to bits mate. The alcantara inserts look the poodles against that body-colour. The only thing I would change is the front nose badge - I think a wee dod of yellow would liven up the paint scheme a treat!

For the uninitiated, fancy posting the spec up? IIRC this is one of the best specced cars on the forum at present and one of the most beautiful. Its the first time in 2 months I've looked at the S1 shape and gone phwoar 8)

I dont think the spec is mega high, but it is absolutely spot on for what I need.

Linkup Honda kit, S1 LSS, S1 Exige body, wing and wheels, road tyres, "touring pack" comfy interior, bangin' speakahz (need refitting) and now in a colour that nobody else has.

A lot of the bits that were done before I bought it are nice haves in a car thats now not going to be tracked much - toelinks, pagids, new bushes/balljoints, uprated proalloy rad, eliseparts exhaust.

It`ll do me nicely :thumbsup

Dan and I were having a discussion about what remains that you can see from the original car, and there isnt much

What a transformation.

I like that a lot.

The colour is very individual and really suits the car imo.

Just seen this jj
What a result the colour looks awesome
Did you know from day one that was the plan for the car?
Looking at the finished result the colour really but works did you ever have second thoughts about picking grey over something more outrageous?

Yeah, I loved the look of my old S1 Exige and when I sold that I was way out-pimped by Phil in his s1 exige, but fancied the Honda - this way I got to spec exactly what I wanted, things like the roof/enginecover/colour.

I have to park it in the city centre 24/7 so an outrageous loud colour was out on that count as well as I have done that when I had the yellow S2Exige. Also my girlfriend threatened to never get in it if it was a stupid colour

Funny thing is, it now looks out there but in a totally different way and stands out as much as it probably would if it was a fluorescent colour.
