To all the OCD car cleaning guys

What would you recommend to clean the steering wheel, the silver bit is fairly grubby and needs freshening up but I'm scared of damaging it. Any suggestions?

go to tesco and buy their own brand all purpose cleaner called daisy. mix it with water at a ratio of 10:1 and try that. if it doesn't shift it try a stronger mix. use a microfibre cloth if you have one
