Yep Wasps attacks can be a bit scary esp for the wee one?..big coverage on the BBC morning News last week following the deaths of two people down south. The whole nest which is made up of working females ( little bitches) is about its Max in strength at this time of year areVictor Meldrew wrote:Just recovering after a rather scary moment.
We were walking the dog in Balbirnie Park when we were all attacked by swarming wasps. I was stung around a dozen times, Lesley got stung probably around 20 time and Megan was lucky with only two stings. Lesley had the beginnings of an allergic reaction and her face and neck started to swell up. . I phoned NHS 24 who were very good at pointing out the obvious... but they did help by pointing us towards Boots for some antihistamine. The pharmacist was helpful and sorted us out with the right stuff.
So still sore, and now a little groggy from the tablets.. lazy day ahead I think..
