Car Knackered ........

Post by minkypotglory » Wed Jul 12, 2006 1:50 pm

Waiting, for recovery man to take it to MMC. Hope to get it back soon  .It's been playing up when you start it from cold it revs it's head off. Now it starts and just cuts out. Neil was out in it last night and it just cut right out at 75mph onthe bypass.

Recovery man came with just a normal recovery vehicle no fecking danger was he getting to take it away. So now waiting for a flat bed recovery vehicle to arrive. Starting to get really pis.ed off

Awwww sh*t :(

Sounds like something simple though - thinking throttle body/IACV/MAP sensor sorta thing. Hopefully shouldn't be major....

my symptoms were:

most of the time when i start my car it idles at about 900 rpm

but occassionally it'll start and idle at 2000prm bouncing up and down between that and 1500rpm

other times it will bounce between 500rpm and 900prm and then cut out when it goes back down to 500 rpm

what the hell is going on?

all i need to do is stop the car and start it again and it's fine!

Up, date MMC new warranty is OK now especially if you carry a big stick.

Anyway second recovery guy came we pushed car out the drive so he could put it on the flat bed. He then informs me he is going to put the winch on to the wishbones and pull it up. No you feking ain't it has a front toe eye. But i didn't know where it was but i found it anyway

He says what's this supposed to do well arse w....... that's where you fix the winch to and pull in on to the flate bed.Anyway he managed that fixed it on.Then tore off down the road.

Get on the phone to his head office and give them a piece of my mind.Dont send Muppet's out like that. Manager was going to have a word with him when he got back to depot.

MMC will nae get a dime it's covered with warranty and free recovery.

Thats what the monkey said to me when they towed mine away w'a fecked clutch. :(

You will not be using the wishbones and you do not need to squash my wheels with your ratchet belt. You weigh more than it does!

It is not a Mondeo you fcuk!
