I was unimpressed at the convoy's of cars coming down to powmill
I'm guilty of driving that road quickly myself but at least keep it on your side of the road!
I was met by elises/exiges in the middle of the road on one of the bends and it made me hit a kerb/verge with my trailer, thanks for that
So own up - who was it then...
Couldn't have been us, we were still eating lunch in the cafe until 3pm!! Was a good lunch actually! :thumbsup

Cheers to John for a great day. Happy I won the best dressed, was a tribute to a true gent who is sadly missed.

Was good to meet some new people,Woza, Alan/jen etc. My car was going well.

Decided to let mckean have a go for some gentle laps with jen. He thought there was something up with my dampers. Turns out it was indeed my handbrake sticking, car obviously loves abuse as now the handbrake is freed and its driving properly again. :blackeye

This was clearly the cause of my spin on the warm up lap, apolgies for that!

Cant wait til the next one! :thumbsup

I would just like to say a big thank you to Steve ( Silver S1) & Ian ( Blue 135 S2) Kenny (Exige) who kindly offered myself, and my guest
(Andy) passenger laps in their cars. I would also like to give a very big thanks to Brian who made the day even more special by offering a few laps in his 340R, with Scotty at the wheel. It was just fantastic.
Regards
Stew

It took us most of the morning to mobilise but I'm glad we made it for the last hour or so. Eilidh and James both enjoyed the spectacle but were too cold and hungry to wait for everyone finishing and the chance for seats in some cars, so we satisfied ourselves with a mediocre overpriced lunch at the KH cafe (was meant to be Powmill but when they gotta eat, they gotta eat!!). Great chat with Stew who we hadn't seen for a bit, and several other usual suspects.

Looking forward to coming up again in the future.

The Gentleman Jamieson trophies looked spanking, as did Ed and everyone else who made an effort (my personal vote actually goes to Scotty for the inventive use of carpet to create a chic lounge suit...).

I have a few snaps which I'll try to upload when I get some time.

Campbell

PS - Corranga (Chris?) your Triumph Green S1 really is something, very inspirational. One day, one day (the interior re-trim that is, not the colour, I'm afraid...you can stay unique in that dept!)
