New pal for my 2-11

Post by Gazoo » Sat Apr 17, 2010 8:18 pm

I have just purchased this car as a total indulgence and think it will look fab along side my 2-11.

The pictures do not do it justice it is just outstanding condition

Excellent choice - brings back memories, I never achieved the dizzy heights of an RS 2000 but had 1600 Sport and Mk1 Mexico and longed for a 2000. :thumbsup Enjoy

Looking good - just need some Dooks uv Hazzard air horns and some major oversteer and you'll be grinning from ear to ear.

Not much to them, but what it does have is very shiney !

Nice work.

Can someone chop a photo together of the RS2000 with the Focus RS to show how much car technology has changed in 30 years

This place is quickly becoming a Ford RS owners club

Looks fantastic and a fresh change from all the sparkly new technology heavy cars most seem to be picking up!

Very Nice looking car
Early Ford prices have rocketed recently with some comedic prices being asked.

Mk 2 RS 1800 in Kincardineshire requires restoration @ £32,500

Or a Mk 1 Twin Cam Escort for sale in Bristol @ £65,000

My last RS (1981 Black with Chocolate Fishnet Recaros) in immaculate condition sold for £3,800 in 1982 :(
