Pic next to the SE Logo - that's me that is!
Could be turning into Clarks, not sure if it's pre Nitrons or Mac in Pax seat...

Front looks pretty slammed.
Cheers,
Ali

My Nitrons are 110/120 but I think that pic predates them. If you have the date of the pic Si the Nitrons went on in Jan this year...

Ali

You'd be amazed how much it still moves with pretty stiff springs in there. I've got 325lb front and 375lb rear springs on the Ledas (whose compression damping is more stiff 'n clumsy than the Nitrons) and it still looks like the General Belgrano in corner shots!

Doesnae fcuking feel like it mind...
Ever think you might actually be pressing on a bit there, chap?

Yeah, 325/400 springs on mine. Probably still braking and looks like a quarter turn of lock.
Amazing how much pitch you can get, even in the wet...spot the mistake below...
Cheers,
Ali

Maybe not braking while halfway round the hirpin would have helped.

I think I'm on 'bail out' line. If you lock up early into the hairpin there is not much room straight on and you can end up in the gravel. If you come off the brakes and turn in early you have more space to get the speed down (but end up parked facing the grandstand).
Cheers,
Ali

You're welcome to try young man.
You're car should be well suited to hillclimbs and sprints with the CR box. more power, Nitrons and grippy rubber. 'Should' be quicker than mine.
Overall championships will be tough though as you have to beat this years records (by 2 seconds) and there will probably be a Honda'd tutmiester back in the fray.
Cheers,
Ali
