I've ridden a big farm type quad between farms on the road and they're bloomin awful. Fast and they don't particularly like corners unless they slip, not a good mix on the road. Each to they're own though. I suppose there will be some road focused ones that'll work better.

For a toy, I love them. Be prepared to be sideways when you get near a limit which is quite low. Ok in a field but be very careful on the road.

The quads need to be to ridden in an opposite way to m-bikes in that you don't initially counter steer when turning in.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Difficult for push/motor bikers at first, you really have to wrestle the bars which is counter-intuitive to those that are averse to going over the bars on two-wheeled machines. You often see bikers on quads leaning in and going straight on - been there, done that!
