I've got another set of tyres and a new front bar i want to try so i'll be on track tonight.

Cant get hold of any spare harnesses so still unable to take any pax out.

And this set up might be absolutely crap so if you see and silver and black Caterham thats all over the place that will be me :D

Brunty... how does it go regarding paying. Can i give you a cheque on then night?? Or can you give me an e mail address to sent a paypal payment to???

Thanks, but i'll not bother. Been running old 'off' used tyres for the last 2 races now. Really need to use fresh rubber.

I've got 2 sponsors interested. One can supply me 048's. But these are 60 profile compared to the 50 on the Avons. The other is supplying me with 021R's for the wet.

I really like the feel of the ACB10's. But i'l be trying 048's in medium rear/ soft front tonight.

The car is set up to run on Avon crossply's so the Yoko radials in the slightly bigger profile might feel a bit weird in the dry. Plus it doesn't feel like it picks up as well out the corners with the bigger 48's on. I've tested them in the wet before and they were decent enough.

what sizes do you run G? Is there a rule in your class that says no slicks?

The Avon ACb10's are slick sizes but translate in to 185/50 R13.

It's supposed to be a roadcar class so they tyres must be approved in the MSA blue book.... but basicly any road tyre...48's etc.

If i move to slicks and wets, then i'd need to get much wider wheels and slicks would move me into Class A with the CSR260, Porshe GT2 etc. No matter how much grip they give i'll never be able to lap with these guys with my 140bhp  They're doing 52's and i know one of the front running guys uses a set of slicks per meeting. Thats about £600-£800 just on tyres per event.

I'm running quite skinny tyres to keep my costs down just now.

Brunty

I will definitely be coming up to KH tonight. Not done one of your track nights, so not sure of the format. Can you make sure my name is on the list and I'll bring some cash or cheque to pay.
Time to see what this 340R can do :D

Cheers
Cammy
