I changed them this morning and sent you a pdf version. All versions of ECU are on the same drawings.

Thanks for posting those Alan. You already implemented the changes I saw. Great minds think alike... eh?

To all, these drawings represent a lot of effort on Alan's part. If you benefit from the, please shoot him a BIG thank you. I'm sure they saved me hours of time and probably kept me from frying something expensive.

Starting to sort out my radiator/cooling plumbing strategy. I don't have any thing to look at locally, but here's what I came up with. I will be installing a new High Pressure Extra-Capacity Radiator as well.

Any comments from those with more experience with conversion cooling applications?

Can only compare it to mine Ken,

I/Stark install
Temp sensor (with the use of an adaptor) into port "G".
Pipe "D" connects to Heater Matrix (blue) with a T-Off to pipe "E"
Do away with the hose/joiner (rover part) and connect top of expansion tank straight to "F"

The rest is more complicated than it needs to be, let me look through some photo's for you to have a look at.

Think I am starting to understand those wiring diagrams now the more I look at them.....still a bit hazy on a few of them but sure it makes more sense with the stuff in bits in front of you.

Enjoying reading about your conversion Ken. When you get the engine back can you post a pic of the SNS main engine mount in situ, interested to see how it goes together.

Cheers
Rob

PS - just read the thread about your accident Alan, hope you are getting better. Spent a lot of time with an angle grinder and a stone cutting disc a few years back doing a patio and slate kitchen floor and it kicked a number of times, now feeling very lucky.

While this isn't my engine Rob, it goes together like this. (Photo courtesy of S2Dave). As you can see, a little CNC machining is done to the OEM Lotus Engine Mount so the new mount sets atop it.

Thats it, although a little confused about pipe "D" engine side. It should be exiting at the exhaust side. See Pic

You can see the black pipe under the wiring loom.

True... but if you don't use the 'built-in T' in the black pipe (see 1st diagram - D on the engine), you may as well cut it back before the 'T' (if I'm seeing this correctly)? Might as well keep everything on the intake side... right?

Thanks for the pictures Alan. That helps. Cheers.

See what you mean, i thought the pipe had a secondary outlet that fed the throttle body with coolant. All from memory so could be wrong.

Looks like you've got it sorted.

Actually, you are somewhat correct Alan... but the secondary outlet is a return from the TB. The feed to the TB was the 'F' connection (engine), but we're connecting that to the overflow bottle now. Since I'm using the Skunk2 70mm TB with Skunk2 Pro K-Series Manifold, there is no longer a heater circuit to it (like the OEM RBB manifold).
