Pretty sure mine was 53, until I sold it 2 months ago.

Sorry that is of no use.

Daft question - but where does it tell you?

I'll have a look at Mandy's key tonight.

on the underneath of the actual key, there should be a number stamped on.

If i have no luck, will have to order another from lotus and hope they have them. They gave me a big scare story about if they've sold all the keys then they cant get anymore.

will try and remember to check mine, but seeing as car is not at home, might not work. if you're desperate, give me a bell and i'll have a look.

i am, but it seems wasteful to use up all my breakdowns on silly things like this. I will probably need all 6 callouts this year :D

anyway, thanks to gordon who helped me get them off this morning. I owe you one.

cheers

I got one of these from a (ex) Rover dealer in Dundee a couple of weeks ago after I stripped the teeth of the old one. The code you need is actually stamped on the nut itself. It's a single letter.

Only cost a couple of quid.

the code on mine was number 53. have ordered it through lotus before, it wasnt the money, just needed them off this weekend, and thankfully gordon, armed with a hammer, has sorted it.

thanks though
